As parents who lost a child we found that by talking and telling our story we were able to begin our healing process. The first thing we dealt with was “shock” and for us just talking helped us come to terms with what had happened. Some people just listened, others offered advice and many cried but just having a ear helped us. By talking to others who like us have lost a child we have realized many people don’t have something as simple as someone to tell their story to. In order to realize all of our goals as a foundation we will need to have fundraising events to fulfill our mission. Our vision is to help families all over the country so it seems natural to have events all over the country. If you have any ideas or want to help in event planning please share below and hopefully we can connect like minded people in the same geographical areas.
